Although Fala has some training in dance, and she has mentioned that she is able to handle singing and dancing at the same time, Fala's dancing is quite rigid, and she is rather stiff in her moves; thus, it doesn't look as nice when she's dancing.

Anyway, even if you are not 「十八廿二」 doesn't mean that you can't sing 抒情 songs. It also depends on the 內容 of the song.

In the clip, it mentioned that the company wants her to go the 跳舞快歌 route; thus, the key words are "dance" and "fast". Although this route sounds similar to the route that Kate took, the songs in Kate's albums were actually more mid-tempo rather than fast (as Kate doesn't have the range to sing even faster songs), so I don't think that Fala's singing image will clash with Kate's. Perhaps they want Fala's song styles to be similar to Kelly's "大日子" and "花花宇宙". Anyway, Fala's voice is definitely more suitable for 抒情 songs.
